The Live at the Hilde concert series is held at the Hilde Performance Center outdoor amphitheater, in the northwestern suburb of Plymouth, MN. This venue is a hidden gem just outside of Minneapolis and features an open-air concert atmosphere with a stunning glass stage wall in a scenic park. The City of Plymouth hosts several community events (i.e. Music in Plymouth) in the park throughout the year. SMA’s Live at the Hilde concerts bring national touring acts and a full concert experience to this amazing venue.

1. Q: How do I get to the Hilde Performance Center?

A: The Hilde Performance Center is located at 3500 Plymouth Blvd, behind the City Hall/Public Safety Building complex, and adjacent to Life Time Fitness. Entrances and paths leading to the Hilde Center are located:

  • On Plymouth Blvd between Life Time Fitness and City Hall
  • At the far end (north) of the City Hall parking lot and behind City Hall (off 34th Ave. N.), and the south end of the Life Time Fitness parking lot
 

2. Q: Where do I purchase tickets?

A: Tickets can be purchased online at suemclean.com, etix.com, Etix charge by phone at 800.514.3849. Tickets are available on the day of the show at the box office at the amphitheater, which is set up prior to doors opening.

3. Q: What is included in a VIP Pond Party Deck ticket?

A: A VIP Pond Party Deck ticket includes exclusive access to the Pond Party Deck, a Pond Party Deck laminated pass, a dedicated Pond Party Deck bar, and portable bathrooms for Pond Party Deck use only. There is first-come seating in this area. Lawn chairs are not permitted in this area.

4. Q: Are there ticket refunds?

A: There are no ticket refunds, and the concert is rain or shine.

5. Q: Can I use my mobile device to scan my concert ticket at the door?

A: Yes, Etix offers a barcode that is visible on your mobile device, which the box office can scan at the door.

6. Q: Is the concert family-friendly?

A: Yes. Live at the Hilde is an all-ages event. Children 2 and under are not required to have a ticket.

7. Q: Where can I park?

A: There are several FREE park lots available near and around the Hilde Performance Center. Concert event parking is free and based on a first-come, first-serve basis. Parking is available at: US Bank, TCF Bank, Life Time Fitness, Plymouth Ice Center, US Post Office, West Lutheran Church, Cub Foods, Sports Hut, and along Plymouth Blvd. and Vicksburg Ln.

8. Q: Are food and beverages allowed in the Ampitheater?

A: Guests are permitted to bring one sealed water bottle or one empty refillable water container. There will be water refilling stations inside the venue. No outside coolers, food and/or other beverages are allowed. There will be concessions available for purchase inside the venue.

9. Q: What can I expect at the entrance?

A: There will be a bag check and identification process via wristband to purchase alcohol. Please leave large bags at home.

10. Q: Are lawn chairs allowed?

A: Yes. One blanket and lawn chair per person is allowed in the GA Lawn Section; please be respectful of other concert guests. No umbrellas please. Please note that there are no lawn chairs permitted in the GA Pit or VIP Pond Party Deck.

11. Q: What happens if there is rain or inclement weather?

A: The concert is rain or shine. If there is severe weather, the City of Plymouth and SMA will implement an evacuation and safety plan. We will make announcements from stage during such an event.

12. Q: Is photography or recording permitted?

A: No. Professional photography or recording are not allowed at the show. No cameras with a removable lens, video equipment, or recording equipment are allowed without advanced written permission.

13. Q: Is the amphitheater accessible for people with special needs?

A: Yes. The Plymouth City Hall parking lot (3400 Plymouth Blvd.) has several ADA-marked spots, and the path to the amphitheater is accessible. There is a designated ADA section inside the venue. 

14. Q: Is smoking permitted?

A: The Hilde Performance Center is a non-smoking venue.

15. Q: Will concert-goers be permitted to leave the venue and return?

A: There will be no re-admittance after entry.
