Sue McLean
President / Talent Buyer
Sue has been active in the music business since the mid 1970s, when she got her start as a booking agent booking the likes of The Suicide Commandos and Curtiss A. She was in-house talent buyer for Duffy’s Nightclub back in the day and went on to become Special Events Director at the Guthrie Theater until leaving in the mid 90’s to start Triad Entertainment which then became Compass Entertainment. Sue McLean and Associates has been in place since 1998. SMA consistently makes the top 100 national promoter list. If you saw a show around here in the last 20 years, chances are good that Sue booked it! It is still all about the music and SMA is proud to be part of artist development through promoting concerts!

Tamsen Preston (Second)
Director of Operations
Tamsen comes to SMA with over eight years of concert and live entertainment experience, most recently working as the Booking Assistant for the Clear Channel / Ritual Minneapolis office (now known as Live Nation). Prior to joining Ritual, Tamsen worked at the Quest Club in Downtown Minneapolis as the club’s Production Coordinator in charge of live entertainment.
